INTRODUCTION
The following artifact contains over 200 terms to be studied for the Foundations of Reading Test (FoRT). I developed these flashcards out of necessity for seeing a word more than once to memorize it; the great volume of terms and definitions for the FoRT test seemed daunting until I created some quick cards. Flashcards allow for repeated practice with both familiar and unfamiliar words and their accompanying definitions, actively engaging your brain to recall information when practicing daily. I created these terms as a way for me to study for the daunting FoRT exam, and after they were created I decided to share them with the kind professor, Dr. Cindy Cate. Cindy suggested that these be included in her up-and-coming FoRT study guide text, titled Absolutely NOT! Another Study Guide

REFLECTION
The creation and dispersal of these flashcards happened very serendipitously. I had a feeling that Cindy's undergraduate students would benefit from this study tool, and I was surprised to hear that my flashcards could help more than just Dr. Cate's students! I wholeheartedly believe that when teachers share, amazing things can happen.
