EDU 747/748 Case Study
INTRODUCTION
During the Spring of 2016, I took a course titled EDUC 747/748: Supported Literacy. We were asked to select a striving reader and perform various reading assessments on the student. Since I previously completed a case study just last semester, I decided to again ask this student to join me for some reading sessions. This student, a 10 year old Latina, was a student of mine, and she can be described as a striving reader. We met on four different occasions during the month of June.

REFLECTION
Although we had to meet during the first month of summer, my student and I barely noticed school was over! We were extremely motivated and we also had a bunch of fun together. It was during this case study that I realized how much growth she has made this year (6 reading levels!). Our time ended so quickly, and I will miss my sweet reading buddy.
